Brad began his SEO career in 2009 when keyword stuffing was a sure-fire way to rank websites.

After discovering how valuable a long-term SEO strategy is for a local businesses, he founded Digital Hitmen in 2016.

In his spare time, you can find Brad spending time with his young family and playing Australian Rules Football (poorly) for the Wembley Vets Football Club. He is a passionate fan of the Philadelphia 76ers and the West Coast Eagles, and hopes to one day witness a Sixers championship in real life.

From Springfield to SEO

  • Brad got his first real taste of the Internet in 1999, when he built his own website dedicated to The Simpsons.
  • He graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in E-Commerce, Marketing and Information Systems).
  • He graduated from Aquinas College, Perth, with a TER score of 95.
  • He won the TER Award for Information Systems at Aquinas College (top student from all classes).
  • Brad took Kitchen Warehouse from a start-up to Australia’s largest online kitchenware retailer in only 5 years.
  • During his time at Kitchen Warehouse, he developed a strong understanding of:
    • SEO specifically for Ecommerce retailers
    • Conversion rate optimisation tactics to drive Ecommerce sales
    • Building high-quality backlinks from external websites
    • Using content creation strategies to build a loyal community of brand ambassadors
    • Website architecture for large Ecommerce websites with 1000s of products
    • Local SEO for multiple stores across a number of states in Australia
  • He was invited as a guest speaker at several Australian online marketing conferences, including the PeSA Internet Conference (since rebranded as Retail Global) and the Online Retailer Roadshow.
  • He become the #1 seller internationally for Isagenix, a multi-level marketing company. Whilst most representatives of the company relied on traditional face-to-face marketing tactics, Brad used his knowledge of SEO to build 5 domestic and international websites that targeted consumers across a range of brand and produce-related search terms.
  • He founded one of Australia’s largest ecommerce websites in the home and living industry, Online Flooring Store.
